Dawn is built to be private by design. This policy describes exactly what the app does with data.
Nothing. Dawn has no accounts, no sign-ups, and no analytics of our own. We (the developer) do not collect, receive, store, or sell any personal data.
Dawn shows no ads and contains no advertising or analytics SDKs whatsoever.
There is one optional “Support Development” tip jar offering a few small one-off amounts. Purchases run entirely through Apple’s In-App Purchase system: Apple takes the payment and we never see your name, your payment details, or your Apple account. Tipping unlocks nothing — every feature is free either way.
So the app can say thank you, it asks Apple for your own purchase history for these tips, on your device, to tell whether you’ve tipped recently. That check happens locally and is not reported to us or anyone else.
Dawn is not directed at children. It contains no ads, no third-party tracking, and no user-generated content.
Because we hold no data about you, there is nothing for us to delete. You can remove all app data by deleting the app; iCloud-synced tracking data can be removed via Settings → Apple ID → iCloud → Manage Storage.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new date.
