Dawn is a simple, beautiful prayer times app for iPhone and Apple Watch: accurate salah times computed on your device, a qibla compass, a tasbih counter, gentle reminders, and Home Screen widgets. Everything works offline and every feature is free.
Why do the times differ slightly from my mosque? Dawn automatically picks the calculation convention most common in your region. If your mosque follows a different one, change it in Settings → Advanced.
Does the app work without location access? Yes — choose any city manually. Location, when granted, is used only on your device to compute times and never leaves it.
Is anything paid or locked? No. Every feature is free, and there are no ads of any kind. If you’d like to support development there’s an optional tip jar — “Support Development” on the Today screen — with a few one-off amounts. Tipping unlocks nothing; it’s a thank-you, not a purchase.
